so how does it work?

Step 1 - Contact us! Complete the contact form or telephone us.

Step 2 - What would you like? Once we receive your request, we will have an initial discussion to establish the look and feel of your website, colours, layout, style, number of pages, etc.. We will review and assess your competitors' websites and other sites you have identified as having the "look and feel" you require. We will produce some screen mock-ups to progress your ideas.

Step 3 - Design agreement and initial payment Once we have agreed in principle how we should proceed, we will draw up a design agreement outlining the design project and payment details. We will email this to you to review, sign and mail back to us. Once we receive the initial payment outlined in the design agreement we can continue.

Step 4 - Gather and structure content We will request the content that you will want displayed on your website, including the copy, logo and any photos or graphics. We will review the content and make suggestions for the layout and structure of the content - the navigation system, stock photography etc.. We will also request the domain name you require and alternatives if your first choice is not available.

Step 5 - Developing the design Once we have explored all layout ideas for the main page of your website, we will continue to develop your design for review. We will create a personal directory for you on our web server where you and your colleagues can view the design at any time.

Step 6 - Refining your website design We will discuss the design concepts and continue to work with you to refine the design until you are completely happy with it.

Step 7 - Creating the website Once the home page is perfected, the remaining pages are created and content added. We will ensure the design, content structure and optimised code make your website attractive to search engines.

Step 8 - Review Your working site is uploaded to your domain for you to carry out the final review. You may want to revise the layout, content, navigation system, fonts... make a list of revisions you would like implemented for us to carry out. We want you to be delighted with your website!

Step 9 - Testing We carry out extensive testing to ensure that your website is displayed correctly across over 30 browsers and at different screen resolutions. We also ensure that all code is compliant to the current standards defined by W3C.

Step 10 - The final stage The updated website is uploaded to your domain. We submit your website to the major search engines. Your website is now complete and your final payment becomes due!
